ARMENIAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT TO BE FUELED UP WITH NUCLEAR FUEL IN FALL
The availability of $29-mln debt for the acquisition of nuclear fuel for the Armenian NPP earlier will not prevent Armenia from getting a new part of fuel. As "Arminfo" agency reports, the refueling of the Armenian NPP is planned for the next fall. Thereupon, the activities for getting $8 mln necessary for refueling are already held today. At the same time, the preventive services, financing of which will be at the own expenses of the plant will be conducted during the plant downtime. The European Union and the USA will continue to render assistance to Armenia in the realization of the project for the plant security increase. The governments of Italy and the Great Britain will participate in the solution of this issue.
