Azerbaijan destroys Mariamadzor village in Hadrut area

Azerbaijan persists in demolishing historical and architectural monuments of pan-Christian significance, entire settlements, and residential areas in Artsakh.

The latest target is Mariamadzor village in the Hadrut area of Artsakh, as reported on the Facebook page of the Ombudsman for the Cultural Heritage of the Armenian Highlands.

This became known from a photograph published on a Telegram channel on February 4, 2025. "All these facts once again testify that the entire heritage of universal value located in the territory of Artsakh is under the threat of complete destruction and appropriation, which is also a manifestation of genocide," the statement reads.

It is mentioned that the acts of vandalism against Armenian cultural heritage in Artsakh are also being recorded by international scientific centers, which provide an important basis for bringing the genocidal and terrorist state of Azerbaijan before an international court.

Earlier, it became known that Saroyan Street in Stepanakert was completely looted by Azerbaijanis. Houses are being demolished, including the section leading to Alek Manukyan Street, which constitutes an entire neighborhood.
