During his official visit to the Kingdom of Norway, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan made a brief statement to the press after meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, highlighting the importance of deepening relations with Norway.

He noted that Armenia highly values Norway's continued support for the country’s development agenda.

"Regarding regional issues in the South Caucasus, Norway has consistently shown interest. Today, I had the opportunity to present developments in our region and reaffirm Armenia’s commitment to the peace agenda. We are making every effort to establish lasting peace in the region and open a new era of peace in the South Caucasus.

Armenia also places great importance on cooperation with the Nordic-Baltic countries, including Norway. We are pleased to note that these countries share a mutual interest in collaboration. We are determined to explore new horizons in our relations and welcome the fact that the Norwegian side widely shares this approach," the minister stated.

The Armenian and Norwegian foreign ministers continued discussions in an expanded format with the participation of delegations from both countries.
