Six Armenian teachers of Russian language and literature will participate in a training program at the K. Ushinsky Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education in St. Petersburg.
As part of the Winter School program, they will train alongside educators from Abkhazia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, South Ossetia, and Sweden, reports Sputnik Armenia.
The sessions will be led by winners of Russia’s national Best Teacher competitions. They will introduce innovative teaching methods, including the use of memes, and discuss the specifics of teaching Russian as a foreign language in multilingual and multicultural classrooms.
In addition to lectures, participants will take excursions to the city's literary landmarks. The program is dedicated to the memory of renowned Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
