On March 4, Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Lilit Makunts, met with U.S. Congressman Michael Lawler (Republican, New York) to present updates on the ongoing peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Armenian Embassy in the U.S. reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Armenia and the U.S., highlighting the key role of the U.S. Congress in this process.

Congressman Michael Lawler has repeatedly emphasized his support for Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty in his public statements. In appreciation of this stance, Ambassador Makunts expressed her gratitude to him.
