Singer Erik Karapetyan revealed on his Facebook page that Azerbaijani hackers attacked his YouTube channel, deleting six songs and falsely labeling them as Azerbaijani.
"Our law-breaking neighbors are at it again—this time, they attacked my YouTube channel after midnight, submitting false claims to delete six songs, stating that these too are Azerbaijani," Karapetyan wrote.
He also mentioned that the hackers, using blackmail tactics, are now trying to reinstate one of their previously removed performances, which he firmly refuses to restore.
The singer assured that the deleted songs will soon be restored and that such actions cannot intimidate or stop him.
"Cheap tricks like these don’t scare me and won’t stop me—even if they delete all my accounts," he added.
Karapetyan also addressed disinformation being spread about him, noting that while he fights for his rights, some local media outlets publish misleading headlines.
Earlier, Karapetyan’s song “Not More, Not Less” was presented as Azerbaijani on Russian state television. The singer initiated legal action, leading to the segment's removal from the Malakhov show.
