The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Trade Board reported that trade volume among EAEU member states grew by 6.3% in 2024 compared to the previous year, according to Armenpress.
The distribution of intra-EAEU trade was as follows:
"In 2024, intra-EAEU trade accounted for 17% of the bloc’s total trade volume. For Armenia, trade within the EAEU made up 25.6% of its overall foreign trade," the commission's report stated.
Armenia’s export distribution within the EAEU was as follows:
Armenia’s imports from EAEU countries were also dominated by Russia, which accounted for 98.5% of total imports. The remaining 1.5% was distributed among Belarus (1%), Kazakhstan (0.5%), and Kyrgyzstan (0.01%).
In terms of exported goods, 44% of Armenia’s exports to EAEU countries consisted of machinery, equipment, and transport vehicles, while 23.7% were food and agricultural products.
