Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The PM informed the Russian president about the finalization of the text of the "Agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan" and the completion of negotiations on the document.
They also discussed other issues related to regional and bilateral relations.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry stated that it had accepted Azerbaijan’s proposals regarding the two previously unresolved articles, confirming that the peace agreement is now ready for signing. Armenia is open to consultations on the timing and venue of the signing.
The draft peace agreement consists of 17 articles, with 15 already agreed upon. The disputed points included renouncing international claims against each other and not deploying third-country representatives along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
