Missing soldiers' families protest lawsuit withdrawals

Relatives of missing soldiers gathered outside the government building, expressing outrage over the authorities' decision to withdraw lawsuits filed against Azerbaijan in international courts.

"If the lawsuits are withdrawn, who will address our issues? No one. For four years, we've been dragged along," the parents complained to government representatives, as reported by Aysor.am .

When an official mentioned that an alternative decision could pose a risk of war, the parents retorted, "Don't scare us with war."

"They should set a condition to clarify the fate of the missing before withdrawing," one parent stated.

Another parent noted that they have an individual lawsuit in the European Court. They mentioned seeing their son captured in a video, yet his name remains on the missing persons list. After consulting a lawyer, they discovered that no one has the right to withdraw their lawsuit.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia announced that it has accepted the Azerbaijani side's proposals regarding two previously unagreed articles, and that the peace agreement is ready for signing. It is noted that Armenia is prepared to begin consultations on the timing and location of the agreement's signing.

The draft peace agreement consists of 17 points, of which 15 had been previously agreed upon. One of the unresolved points was the mutual renunciation of international claims against each other, and the other was the non-deployment of representatives from other countries on the borders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
