Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has denied Azerbaijan’s latest disinformation, which alleged that on March 17, between 01:25 and 12:55, Armenian armed forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, this information is false.
The office of Armenia’s prime minister has proposed the creation of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and related reports. However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to the proposal.
The Armenian defense ministry reaffirmed that, in line with the prime minister's stance, it is ready to investigate Azerbaijan’s claims if Baku provides supporting evidence.

Meanwhile, the EU monitoring mission has assessed the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border as calm, noting no unusual activity.
