Elina Avanesyan, who represents Armenia, has improved her position in the latest rankings released by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). She has climbed three spots and now holds the 36th position.

In the men's rankings, Russian-born Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov is ranked 23rd.

At the beginning of March, Avanesyan entered the WTA top 40 for the first time, ranking 39th. Since August 2024, she has been competing under the Armenian flag.
