U.S. Ambassador Kristina Kvien recently visited the 11th-century Lori Berd, continuing her exploration of Armenia's historical monuments, the U.S. Embassy reported.

"The medieval impregnable fortress still stands with majestic beauty today, best reflecting Armenia's rich historical and cultural heritage," the statement said.
