No imminent threat of attack on Armenia, official says

There is currently no threat of an attack on Armenia, according to Kristinne Grigoryan, head of the Armenian Foreign Intelligence Service.

“At this point, there is no combination of facts or signals that would justify a high probability of an attack. However, the situation is changing rapidly, and we are closely monitoring developments,” she said in a conversation with reporters, as reported by Aysor.am .

Grigoryan also indicated that potential threats to Armenia’s independence and sovereignty come from several different countries, although she declined to specify which ones.

Since March 16, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense has repeatedly published disinformation claiming that shots were fired from the Armenian side. Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has consistently denied these statements, and the European Union’s monitoring mission has also refuted Baku’s claims.
