Former State Minister of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan, reacting to the Armenian government's recent decisions to reduce rent support and alter the housing program for displaced Artsakh residents, claimed these policies constitute a "program to trigger a mass exodus of Artsakh Armenians."

He urged everyone to take part in the rally scheduled for March 29.

"The Armenian authorities have once again chosen to speak to Artsakh Armenians through coercion, unwilling to genuinely discuss our reasonable concerns and proposals.

Their plan is to create extreme social instability and poverty to force displaced Artsakh residents into accepting their flawed and dangerous solutions. I won’t even go into their primary responsibility for our forced displacement and the obligations they bear.

That’s why it’s crucial for all of us to raise our voices by attending the upcoming rally on March 29 at 3:00 PM in Freedom Square—to present and demand solutions for both domestic social and legal issues, as well as foreign policy matters like return, prisoners, and more," the statement reads.

On April 2, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Belgian Parliament will hold discussions on a draft resolution regarding Artsakh. The proposed resolution was initiated months ago by federal MPs Els Van Hoof and Michel De Maegd.
