Armenia, Germany sign financial partnership deal

As part of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s official visit to Armenia, the governments of Armenia and Germany signed a financial partnership agreement at the Presidential Palace.

The agreement, titled “Agreement on Financial Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany,” was signed on behalf of Armenia by Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and on behalf of Germany by Ambassador Claudia Busch.

According to Armenia’s Ministry of Economy, the agreement aims to strengthen financial cooperation between the two countries.

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, together with President Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender, visited the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies. The delegation toured the facility, observed ongoing programs, and spoke with students.
