The court proceedings in Baku against Ruben Vardanyan, former Minister of State of Artsakh and philanthropist, continued on April 1, featuring testimonies from so-called “victims” who claimed to have been injured during combat.

During questioning, the individuals admitted they knew Ruben Vardanyan only through media and social media and had never interacted with him personally.

According to Minval.az , Vardanyan was provided with a Russian translator and legal counsel.

During the session, accusations were also directed toward Armenian state institutions, officials, and the armed forces.

Following their testimonies, the “victims” answered questions from judges and state prosecutors. The court examined details about their service locations, the specific areas where hostilities occurred, and the nature and severity of their injuries.

The next court session is scheduled for April 8.
