Co-founder of the Country to Live party, Mesrop Arakelyan, stated on Facebook that the Armenian government’s disgraceful stance on the social issues of Artsakh Armenians is, in his view, sadly logical.
He emphasized that expecting any positive steps from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team regarding Artsakh and its people is sheer folly.
“These individuals demonstrated the same inaction during the blockade of Artsakh, the military aggression against it, and its depopulation.
Therefore, expecting any constructive action from Nikol Pashinyan and his team toward Artsakh and its people is senseless. The only viable solution is the establishment of a government that serves Armenian national interests,” he wrote.
On April 3, representatives of the Council for the Protection of the Rights of Artsakh Armenians met with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan and were informed that there are no plans to resume the “40+10” assistance program. After the discussion, the council members stated they would continue their efforts, asserting that “40+10 has no alternative.”
