The European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Armenia has increased the frequency of night patrols along the border with Azerbaijan since March, according to a statement posted on X.
The post notes that night patrols have been stepped up since March.
"Since March, the mission has increased night patrols on the Armenian side of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border to enhance security during nighttime hours and to prevent potential tensions.
Our observers continue their work around the clock, ensuring a consistent presence both during the day and at night," the post reads.
Since March 16, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has frequently published disinformation alleging gunfire from the Armenian side. Armenia’s Defense Ministry has consistently denied these claims. The EU Monitoring Mission has also refuted Baku’s disinformation.
