President of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation, Arayik Harutyunyan, participated in the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF) Congress and took part in the election process for the federation’s executive body.

The event was held in Chișinău, the capital of Moldova. During the congress, Harutyunyan delivered a speech presenting the Armenian federation’s vision for the future development of weightlifting, according to the federation.

The Armenian delegation also nominated international referee Arayik Alaverdyan for a seat on the EWF Technical Council, who was elected to the position.
