Opposition MP challenges Pashinyan to name one Azerbaijani concession

During a parliamentary discussion on the implementation and outcomes of the Armenian government's 2021–2026 program for 2024, Seyran Ohanyan, head of the opposition Armenia faction, condemned what he called Armenia’s one-sided concessions in negotiations with Azerbaijan.

Addressing Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Ohanian urged him to name at least one concession made by Azerbaijan. “Azerbaijan’s proposals are being fulfilled, and their demands keep increasing. I believe in your final remarks, you should mention even a single concession Azerbaijan has made throughout the peace agreement process,” he said, as reported by Panorama.am .

Ohanyan also criticized concurrent political actions, such as Armenia’s proposal to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group and amend its Constitution — changes he claimed were made under Azerbaijani pressure. “They are eliminating the identity of Artsakh and placing Armenia’s identity at risk,” he warned.

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in an interview with Turkey’s NTV during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, confirmed that Armenia had proposed signing two documents simultaneously: the peace treaty and a joint letter to the OSCE or its member states initiating the Minsk Group’s dissolution process.
