French President Emmanuel Macron has commemorated the Armenian Genocide, paying tribute to its victims through posts on X in both French and Armenian.

“110 years ago, the Armenian Genocide began. Today, on April 24, the national day of remembrance, let us honor all the victims and keep their memory alive.

Let us continue to act in the name of Humanity, for Truth and Justice,” the post reads.
