Torchlight march held in Tbilisi to commemorate Armenian Genocide

On April 23, a traditional torchlight procession took place in Tbilisi, beginning near the Isani metro station and concluding in the courtyard of the Saint Etchmiadzin Armenian Apostolic Church.

The march was organized as a tribute to the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, culminating at a khachkar—a carved memorial cross—installed in the church courtyard, reports Aravot.am .

Among the participants was the church’s esteemed spiritual leader, Father Kirakos Simonyan, who joined the procession and walked with attendees to the memorial site.
