Henrikh Mkhitaryan, midfielder for Italy’s Inter Milan and former captain of the Armenian national football team, marked the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in a story on his Facebook page.

“110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The first genocide of the 20th century. More than 1.5 million Armenians were killed.

We remember and demand. We are united,” he wrote.

He also shared a statement regarding the torchlight march.
