The U.S. Embassy in Armenia announced that individuals who remain in the United States beyond the validity period of their visa may face a permanent ban on re-entry.
“If you stay beyond the period authorized by your visa, you may become subject to a permanent bar from entering the United States. U.S. consular officers have full access to entry and exit records and will see any previous violations,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Embassy warned that fraud related to visas constitutes a criminal offense under federal law, leading to severe consequences.
Previously, the U.S. Embassy stated: “If you are considering entering the United States illegally, you must understand that this serious action endangers your safety and even your life.”
