The Armenian Ministry of Defense has denied the disinformation spread by Azerbaijan.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the Azerbaijani side's statement claiming that on April 28, around 00:25, Armenian Armed Forces units allegedly opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern section of the border does not correspond to reality.
It was noted that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has proposed the creation of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and/or related reports. However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to this proposal.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense reiterated that, within the framework of the Prime Minister's Office's position, it remains ready to investigate the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s allegations, provided that relevant evidence is handed over to Armenia.
