The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has extended its condolences to the families of those killed when a vehicle rammed into a crowd in Vancouver, Canada. The message was posted on X.
"We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims following the tragic events at Vancouver's Lapu Lapu Festival. We wish strength and a speedy recovery to all those injured," the statement reads.
The incident in Vancouver left 11 people dead. The motive behind the attack remains unknown.
The event occurred on the evening of April 26 during a festival organized by the Filipino community. A 30-year-old Vancouver man, previously known to authorities for mental health issues, was arrested at the scene.
