In response, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili thanked him for the warm reception and highlighted: "It is a great honor for me, as our nations have lived side by side for centuries; our friendship spans over 3,000 years and serves as a model worldwide. I also discussed this with the President of Armenia, and it is indeed unique that our nations continue to exist today. Naturally, our relations must deepen and develop. Last year, we signed a strategic agreement."
The Georgian President also emphasized the need to make every effort to turn the South Caucasus into a strong and prosperous region.
Mikheil Kavelashvili welcomed the finalization of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing hope that it would soon be signed, ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
