Between 00:10 and 01:00 on May 30, Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of Khoznavar village in Armenia’s Syunik Province, resulting in damage to the bathroom of a residential home and the injury of a small livestock animal.

“The Azerbaijani side is urged to investigate the shelling of the residential house in Khoznavar and provide a public explanation,” reads the official statement.

Just a day earlier, on May 29, Azerbaijani forces also fired on Khoznavar between 01:00 and 01:15, damaging another home.

Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan stated: “We requested clarification from Azerbaijan; they denied responsibility for the incident.”
