During joint sessions of Armenia’s parliamentary standing committees, discussions continued on the annual execution report of the 2024 state budget. Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the performance of the Prime Minister’s Office, according to 1lurer.am .
In 2024, the total budget for the Prime Minister’s Office amounted to 21.6 billion drams. Initially, 51 programs were approved, but ultimately 63 were implemented, achieving a performance rate of 93.1%.
Throughout the year, the office reallocated 252 million drams and made procurements totaling 1.902 billion drams. Of these, 346 million drams—18% of the total—were single-source purchases.
The office’s activities included modernization of the public sector, public awareness campaigns, support for the Prime Minister’s constitutional powers, inspection oversight programs, and legal representation of Armenia’s interests in international courts and arbitration bodies, as well as enforcement of their decisions.
Additionally, the Prime Minister’s Office generated 1.235 billion drams in revenue.
