Armenian and Indian foreign ministers held a phone call to address regional tensions and coordinate diplomatic responses.

Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar discussed regional developments in a phone conversation, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

They reviewed the current situation in the region, emphasizing the importance of maintaining continuous communication and close cooperation in times of crisis.

On the night of June 13, Israeli airstrikes targeted at least six military bases near Tehran. Iranian state media reported that residential areas in Tehran and other cities were also hit, including the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the capital. Iran’s military said the response to Israel’s strikes would be devastating. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the launch of “True Promise 3” in retaliation, following a statement by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei promising a harsh response to Israel.
