During the Fourth United Nations Conference on Financing for Development, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with French President Emmanuel Macron, according to the Armenian presidential press office.

The two leaders discussed the broader regional situation and ongoing developments. They also exchanged views on key issues of bilateral cooperation.

Earlier, President Macron referenced his phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, stating on X that France had expressed solidarity with Armenia against attempts to destabilize its democracy.
