
The 24th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Russia took place in Yerevan, co-chaired by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. The full scope of Armenian-Russian trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation was discussed.
The co-chairs reviewed the implementation of decisions made during the 23rd session of the commission, held in Moscow on December 20, 2024. They analyzed the current state of bilateral trade and cultural relations and outlined future steps for cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
Special focus was given to the sectors of energy, industry, transport, agriculture, digitalization, healthcare, culture, science, education, and tourism.
Following the negotiations, Mher Grigoryan and Alexey Overchuk signed the official protocol of the 24th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Russia.
Several additional bilateral documents were also signed at the level of relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries with the participation of the commission's co-chairs.
