A new batch of 100 Starlink terminals donated to the Armenian government has already arrived in Armenia, High-Tech Industry Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan said in a Facebook post.
“The new batch of 100 terminals donated to the Armenian government through cooperation between the American Starlink company and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry has already arrived in Armenia.
Together with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, we are beginning to install the equipment in schools where their use is most needed to ensure fast and stable internet access. Our goal is clear: every student, even in the most remote communities, should have equal access to modern educational tools and digital platforms,” the minister wrote.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Starlink subscribers will be able to organize their work across the entire territory of Armenia — in nature, mountains, fields and forests — while remaining connected to both the world and the environment.
