Dozens of Armenians arrive in Yerevan from Muscat

Sixty-three Armenian citizens returned to Armenia on March 8 aboard a Muscat–Yerevan flight.

The information was announced by Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan.

According to her, the consul of Armenia’s embassy in Oman met the citizens who used the transfer arranged by the Armenian embassy in the United Arab Emirates at the UAE–Oman border crossing.

They were then escorted to Muscat airport, where they were provided with the necessary assistance before departing for Yerevan.

On February 28, Israel and the U.S. carried out airstrikes on Iran, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran responded by launching strikes toward Israel and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.
