
The Tennis Federation of Armenia has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Tennis Europe during the organization’s annual general meeting held in Gdańsk, Poland.
Federation President Vardan Zakaryan signed the agreement with Tennis Europe President Henrik Thorsøe Pedersen.
Under the memorandum, top under-14 athletes from developing European countries will regularly hold training camps at the Tsaghkadzor main sports complex, with participation from Armenian tennis players.
It is also planned that the athletes will take part in international tournaments to be held at the same venue, Armenpress reports.
During the meeting, Zakaryan also held working discussions with several international representatives, including International Tennis Federation President David Haggerty, Tennis Europe Executive Director Magnus Grönvold, and heads of national federations from various countries.
