
The “For the Republic” party has approved the first thirty names on its list of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The decision was made during an extraordinary congress, party leader Arman Babajanyan announced on his Facebook page, noting that he will head the list.
He is followed by party vice chairman Ruben Mehrabyan and non-partisan lawyer Lusine Zeynalyan.
“The list also includes Supreme Council deputy Azat Arshakyan, freedom fighters Vardan Malkhasyan and Vladimir Arakelyan, former Deputy Minister of Health Tatul Hakobyan, member of the ‘For the Republic’ party board Arnold Bleyan, as well as a number of other well-known public and political figures. Armenian, Armenia, victory,” the statement said.
Parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 7, 2026.
