On April 16, in celebration of Armenian Cinema Day, the Anahit Awards ceremony took place with the support of the legendary Armenian ARARAT brandies.

For many years, ARARAT Armenian brandies have accompanied significant Armenian and international cultural events, uniquely capturing with their warmth important moments of triumph.

The Anahit Awards were established in 2016 at the initiative of the Armenian National Film Academy. Bringing together leading industry professionals, the Academy evaluates and honors the most significant and promising films and creative achievements, opening new horizons and promoting their presence on international platforms.

The key moments of artistic triumph during the solemn awards ceremony were accompanied by the legendary Armenian ARARAT brandy as well as cocktails crafted on its basis.

This year, the coveted statuettes were awarded to:

Best Cinematography - Suren Tadevosyan for the film “The Reverse Side of the Medal”

Best Screenplay - “Arto’s Country”: Tamara Stepanyan, Jean-Christophe Ferrari, Jean Breshan, Romy Coccia di Ferro, Jihane Chouaib

Best Actress - Camille Cottin for “Arto’s Country”

Best Actor - Khoren Levonyan for “Vazgen: The Last Sparapet”

Best Director - Tamara Stepanyan for “Arto’s Country”

Best Feature Film - “Arto’s Country”
