Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi on April 23, conveying warm greetings from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Papikyan presented the priorities and prospects of bilateral cooperation, highly appreciating the current level of collaboration in the defense sector.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to regional security, emphasizing that establishing long-term peace in the region would contribute to the development and prosperity of all countries.

Papikyan also visited the Mariam (Maro) Makashvili Military Rehabilitation Service, named after Georgia’s national hero. He toured the center and familiarized himself with rehabilitation services provided to servicemen with disabilities.
