Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Robert Kalinak in Warsaw on May 5.

The sides agreed to give practical momentum to bilateral defense cooperation in the near future.

During the meeting, the officials discussed issues related to Armenia-Slovakia cooperation in the defense sector and exchanged views on prospects for further interaction.

Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation in military education, exchange of professional experience, military exercises and defense-technical collaboration.

On May 6, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan attended the opening ceremony of the Defence24 Days conference on defense and security issues in Warsaw.
