
Another transit shipment from Russia to Armenia has been carried out through Azerbaijani territory, including grain and aluminum cargo transported via the Balajari railway station.
The shipment included 10 railcars carrying 700 tons of grain, as well as two railcars transporting 133 tons of aluminum, writes APA.
According to the report, this marks the first time aluminum has been transported from Russia to Armenia through Azerbaijan.
It was also noted that more than 26,000 tons of grain, over 3,800 tons of fertilizer and 68 tons of buckwheat have so far been sent from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijani transit routes.
Alongside these transit operations, exports of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia have also continued. To date, Azerbaijan has exported more than 8,500 tons of diesel fuel, 979 tons of AI-92 gasoline and 2,955 tons of AI-95 gasoline to Armenia.
