Armenia can host refugees from Iran if situation gets worse
Armenia is ready to host refugees from Iran if the situation gets worse there, said Gagik Yeganyan, head of migration department at the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration.

"Armenia has the essential experience in granting asylum. There is also a dormitory where refugees can live for 3 months," he said.

"Migration is a phenomenon caused by changed in economic, social and political life. Refugees mostly arrive from Afghanistan, Iraq and Turkey. There are also three Cuban citizens. During the Israeli-Lebanese hostilities, Armenia received some 350 requests for asylum," Yeganyan said.
