The traditional Eagle Partner 2026 military exercise will be held in Armenia from June 17 to 25 as part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions.
The exercise will involve 250 servicemembers from the Armenian Armed Forces Peacekeeping Brigade, 58 representatives from the U.S. Army Europe and Africa and the Kansas National Guard, 24 servicemembers from the French Armed Forces, and 11 servicemembers from the Greek Armed Forces, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reported.
During the exercise, participants will carry out a range of training activities aimed at preparing for and executing peacekeeping tasks.
The goal of Eagle Partner 2026 is to enhance the interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions, facilitate the exchange of best practices in command and tactical communications, and strengthen the readiness of Armenia’s peacekeeping forces.
Units preparing for involvement in international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar joint exercises and training events hosted by partner countries as part of their preparation process.
The previous Eagle Partner exercise was held in August last year.
