
Armenian midfielder Eduard Spertsyan scored in his first match for Saudi club Al-Ahli after joining the team during the summer transfer window.
The former Krasnodar academy graduate found the net in a friendly against Austrian regional league side Pinzgau Saalfelden, Panorama.am reported.
“On Saturday I played my first friendly for Al-Ahli. I scored my first goal. This is the beginning,” Spertsyan wrote on his Telegram channel.
Spertsyan officially joined Al-Ahli on July 7. According to media reports, he signed a three-year contract with the club, while Championat reported that the transfer fee exceeded €21 million.
