According to the ministry, peace and stability in the South Caucasus remain important priorities for Moscow, RIA Novosti reported.
“As before, we remain ready to provide the necessary assistance for the full normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including the conclusion of a peace treaty, border delimitation and the unblocking of transport communications,” the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Moscow is waiting for Armenia and Azerbaijan to agree on the sequence of future meetings of the foreign ministers of the countries participating in the 3+3 regional platform.
