The Council of the European Union has approved the deployment of a new partnership mission in Armenia under the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). The advisory civilian mission is intended to support the Armenian authorities in strengthening the country's resilience to hybrid threats and enhancing its capacity to respond to evolving security challenges. The new mission is separate from the EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia and is not connected to its activities. It will provide strategic advice, technical expertise and institutional capacity-building to Armenian state institutions.
