The Hayastan Alliance will allocate its parliamentary mandates according to the order of its electoral list, alliance candidate Agnesa Khamoyan said in comments reported by Sputnik Armenia.
"We will take the mandates according to the order on the list, with the exception of Armenia's second president," Khamoyan said, referring to Robert Kocharyan.
The alliance will hold 12 seats in the 9th convocation of Armenia's National Assembly. Since Kocharyan has decided not to take up his mandate, the next candidate on the list, Mesrop Manukyan, a member of the Mother Armenia faction in the Yerevan Council of Elders, will enter parliament.
Under the alliance's electoral list, the parliamentary delegation will consist of Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Anna Grigoryan, Sevak Khachatryan, Artur Khachatryan, Kristine Vardanyan, Aghvan Vardanyan, Gegham Manukyan, Agnesa Khamoyan, Levon Kocharyan, Artur Sargsyan, Lilit Galstyan, and Mesrop Manukyan.
According to the Central Electoral Commission's final results, the Civil Contract party won 64 seats, Strong Armenia secured 29, and the Hayastan Alliance received 12 seats in the National Assembly.
On June 19, seven political forces appealed to Armenia's Constitutional Court seeking to invalidate the election results. On July 4, the Constitutional Court upheld the Central Electoral Commission's decision.
