Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has confirmed that Suren Papikyan and Arpine Sargsyan will be reappointed as Minister of Defense and Minister of Internal Affairs, respectively.

Speaking at a briefing following a meeting of the executive board of the Civil Contract party, Pashinyan confirmed that both officials would remain in their current positions, according to 1lurer.am.

Responding to another reporter's question, the prime minister also confirmed that Lilit Makunts will head the Prime Minister's Office.

Earlier, the executive board of the Civil Contract party selected its nominees for the positions of chairs of the National Assembly's standing committees through a closed and secret ballot.
