Azeri president's administration head Ramiz Mekhtiyev has stated the majority of the political prisoners included in the list of the political prisoners by the Council of Europe are granted pardons. About 200 people out of 716 included in the list are in detention. Mekhtiyev has said again that the official Baku does not consider these people political prisoners. According to him, May 13 the CE monitoring "Ago group" introduced a new list of political prisoners including 17 names. "This list will be considered", Mekhtiyev has stated.
