Yesterday a heavy earthquake took place in Georgia at 10.41 P.M. local time. The epicenter was 20 kilometers southeast of Tbilisi, where the force of the underground tremors measured 6 on the Richter scale. According to the preliminary data 3 were killed, over 30 got injures of different degree. As reported by the Armenian Government press service, Georgia asked the Armenian side to render medicaments. Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian commissioned a working group to study the opportunities for aid supply to Georgia by Armenia to eliminate the earthquake consequences. The working group, which includes physicians, will deliver the necessary medicines to Tbilisi.
