INTERNATIONAL CREDITORS TO LIGHTEN DEBT BURDEN OF ARMENIA AND CIS OTHER SIX COUNTRIES
The international exchange fund, the World bank, the European bank of reconstruction and development, the Asian bank of development as well as the US, German and Russian governments have spoken with an initiative stipulating international creditors' assistance in lightening of debt burden for the CIS seven countries if they realize structural reforms. The initiative applies to Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kirgizia and Moldova. The document signed on Saturday in Washington aims at assistance to economic growth and poverty level cutting down in the above mentioned countries. It is expected restructuring and in several cases reduction of debts of these countries. Besides this initiative stipulates the raising of the bars in the trade, international financial organizations' crediting and increase of the grant shares.
